Welcome to the web site of Danbala Wedo Society, located in Indianapolis, IN. We offer Vodou services for anyone seeking spiritual assistance, as well as various Vodou products at our botanica. We service people of all faiths, beliefs and spiritual paths. All are welcome to use our services. We all seek a way to the same peace, harmony, healing, protection and the same balance of duality in life. But most importantly, we are all seeking God.
We are a Vodou based group, the majority of our practices and all spiritual services revolve around the Vodou by working with the Lwa, however one does not need to be a Vodouisant (one who practices Vodou), to have services done and work performed, only faith. Vodou is the way we have chosen to work with God in order to utilize our abilities to bring you the best assistance we can provide. Faith works in every religion, belief, path, society and in our daily lives. We base everything we do on faith. Whether you're a Vodouisant, or a Taoist Monk. We all have faith that our spiritual path will take us to the Almighty God. And in that faith of our religious path, we are all correct. There are infinite numbers of paths to our creator and father. There is no wrong way to God.
We service the entire Midwest and the rest of the globe with an array of various Voodoo services and products to assist you and your needs. We are proud to represent our Vodou family and our sosyete; Sosyete Belle Fleur Ginea in New York by serving the Indianapolis Vodou and Midwest Vodou communities, along with all of our spiritual brothers and sisters, vodou or not, all are welcome. Our botanica is the only online botanica in Indianapolis to offer Voodoo products such as seven day candles, spritual candles, purification candles, herbs from New York and Haiti, bath and other assorted oils, hand crafted bottles (boutey), wanga packets and more with products being shipped directly to you by simply viewing our online store catalog and placing an order via email or phone. Our spiritual services and other spiritual activities are held at the location of your choice, either at the Danbala Wedo Badgi/Altar Room in Indianapolis, or we can travel to you. A service charge will be added for travel and prices will vary depending on the distance.
The purpose of this site is to enlighten and educate those in search of an answer, a way of spiritual healing, spiritual cleansing or just a basic knowledge of Vodou (also Voodoo, Vodoun and Vodun) as it is practiced in Haiti and now in the U.S. We are here to help you with misfortunes, illnesses, spiritual guidance or any unanswered questions you may have concerning spirituality or insight. We can also assist you with any court cases, card readings, physical and mental health issues as well as contacting the dead, passed loved ones and ancestor communications. The owner of this botanica (Mambo Asogwe Jennifer) has been actively practicing Vodou for nearly seven years. Over the years of that time, she has been teaching, healing, learning and sharing information on the many different levels of the Vodou with her brothers and sisters as well as clients. We realize that not everyone will understand or appreciate what we are about and what we offer, yet we are here to assist those who are seeking a means of an alternate path to God or alternate lifestyle.
The purpose of our house (peristyle) and our sosyete is to serve God and the Lwa of Ginea (Africa). That is first and foremost for all the members of our sosyete. The second purpose of our sosyete is to embrace and share love, healing, protection, joy, fellowship and visiting and learning from the Lwa. Most of all, it is about One et Respe (honor and respect) to the Lwa and all of those around us.
