Mambo Marie has over 20 years experience as a mambo in Vodou having been initiated in Haiti at the age of 18 from Mambo Jacqueline Anne-Marie Lubin, who was kanzoed 30 years before that by Felicia Louis-Romain.
Mambo Marie was born in the country of Haiti in the Port-au-Prince affluent suburb of Petionville. She is the daughter of the well-known M. Menthor Alexandre Loiseau LeGran. Mambo Marie is not only Haitian, but also French, Cuban, and Tayino Indian (the indigenous peoples of Haiti).
Mambo Marie currently resides on Long Island in NY as a highly respected mambo within the New York Vodou community and in the Diaspora. She has a massive “congregation” who appreciate and admire her for the knowledge of the Vodou. Mambo Marie’s reputation has taken her to many cities, states and countries abroad for her healing, love, wisdom and services. She holds beautiful and joyous services in her home for such parties as Fet Ghede, Maitress and more with people coming in from all over the country to enjoy the many Lwa as they come and visit and enjoy our offerings and the visitation with us.
